BREAKING: Alex Mooney running for Congress....in West Virginia
Sources in West Virginia have confirmed to me that Alex Mooney, who until February 21st was the Chairman of the Maryland Republican Party, has moved to Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
He intends to run for Congress there in the 2nd district seat being vacated by Representative Shelley Moore Capito, who is running for the U.S. Senate.
Many of us at Red Maryland demanded Alex Mooney's resignation because we expected him to run for Congress. I for one did not expect that he would not only abandon his Chairmanship, but abandon his home state, too....

Wow! You guys were right, he always only for himself. Well good riddance......I guess. Maybe it's a good think. But has now exposed himself for what you guys always said he was....if this is true of course.
Has any attempt been made to contact Mooney for comment?
