Prayers for Newtown

The editors and contributors of Red Maryland extend their deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to the families of the victims of the school shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Connecticut.

This was a horrific act of unspeakable evil, leaving 27 people murdered, 20 of them young children.  Many of us here at Red Maryland are parents, and the thought that 20 sets of parents must now bury their children, is heartbreaking. 

We pray for the families of the victims, and pray that Almighty God may help assuage their grief.
