I Want a Name

To follow on to Greg's comments about causes for concern as it relates to the lack of a candidate for Attorney General this year, I want a name.

The name I want is the name of the Central Committee Chairman who stood in the way of the State Party Executive Board naming Jim Shalleck as our party's nominee for Attorney General.

I want that person to tell the public exactly why they though allowing a controversial Attorney General to get a free pass to re-election.

And I want to know exactly how their decision benefits the advancement of the Republican and Republican ideals.

The fact of the matter is that there is a likelihood that the individual who is responsible for this is running for another term to their county central committee. And I think that before this unnamed individual faces the voters in 43 days, they owe their party an explanation.

We need to know the name of this knucklehead so that the voters can deal with them accordingly.....

"I Want a Name" and Cause for Concern, on July 29th; lays out an issue of consequences related to ego. The current AG is a proponent of Maryland's Sanctuary State status, anti-Death Penalty and "questionable Marriage". Just look at the VA Attorney General opinion today concerning Illegals. It is a HUGE mistake that there is not a Republican ticket with coat tails this November.

This is exactly why I am running for Central Committee from Anne Arundel County (District 30). It's inexcusable that there is not a Republican on the ballot for AG, or for 15% of the State Senate seats. Current leadership is simply not doing their job. I believe there should always be a Republican in every race in every election in Maryland, local or state-wide.

I'm with you Brian. As a member of the state Central Committee, I want to know who is responsible and what their agenda was. Jim Shalleck would have been a terrific candidate. The responsible person should come forward, and if they don't, the state party leadership should identify them.
