A Split Decision on 3B

It appears the Frederick and Washington County Republican Central Committees could not agree on a replacement for outgoing Delegate Richard Weldon. As reported here, the Frederick County group picked Mike Hough and the Washington County committee picked Charles Jenkins.

Now it appears Governor O'Malley will have the final choice.

Why does everyone take the negative side of this topic? Isn't it great that Frederick has 2 TWO great candidates? Fred Co chose 1 - Wash Co chose 1 - they were different. Since Frederick's choice sat on their central committee it may look like a "golden boy" choice - Washington chose someone else - what did they see. GO for great this doesn't rubber stamp a candidate for the election, it gives the voters the choice to make.

This is just nonsense. The voters aren't deciding diddly squat. Our bickering, juvenile central committee members gave the choice to O'Malley
