He can now add to his title of First Black Councilman. The First Black Councilman charged with fraud. Way to go dude! Great rep for your people.
I seriously think that the only reason the State's Attorney's office is pursuing charges on this is because he is no longer "liked" by the Democrat establishment. There are so many abuses of the campaign finance system that the selective enforcement on these issues is criminal in and of itself.
It is the State Prosecutor's office pursuing the charges not the State's Attorney.
The State Prosecutor was appointed by Ehrlich and no doubt the Dems will cry that this is a partisan witch hunt.
