Where's Andy?

So....where was Andy Harris last night? He certainly didn't bother to show up for work in the State Senate.

Sources tell me that Harris was actually in New York fundraising for his Congressional campaign, but we'll see if the Harris camp puts out an official story...

Harris is the new O'Malley, he doesn't care about anyone but himself.

The Eastern Shore will lose any and all representation if Harris is elected.

I know you have some kindof personal vendetta against Harris for reasons I don't fully understand, but I went to the State General Assembly website and found that Harris had an excused absence. I have a hard time believing Miller would have given an excused absence for Harris to fundraise in NY, but maybe he would have just to get Harris out of his hair in the State Senate.

Brian, you are no longer credible. You have allowed some sort of bitterness to cloud your better judgement. I can't beleive that now you resort to lying & fabrications to make a point. Typically liberal, if you ask me.

Who Voted for the O'Malley Massive and Waistful Spending Budget? Pipkin Did!
Did he care about the poeple then?NO.
Did he think of how to pay for all that spending?
NO - He does have a ton of excuses now as to why he did it.
He wants to represent us in Congress?
I don't think so.

Pipkin cares about the 36th legislative district we he voted for that budget.

The same way Jacobs cares when she voted for it and Colburn when he voted for it and Brinkley when he voted for it.

Remember when it come to the representing constituents in Baltimore County, Harris is irrelevant.

Harris would be an irrelevant lap dog in Congress as well.

A 36th district constituent would like to thank You EJ Pipkin for the Omalley budget. Without your vote it wouldn't be possible.

For leveling all this criticism against Brian for daring to challenge Andy Harris it certainly doesn't say much that you all feel the need to hide behind anonymity. If anything's a left-wing trait it's a willingness to snipe at others while hiding to avoid any heat on oneself.

Oh, and Anon @ 6:40, I would love to find out why you think it's so problematic that Pipkin voted for this budget but don't care that Harris voted for 3 of Ehrlich's just as poor budgets.

You mean Harris supported a series of budgets that took this state from a $4 billion deficit and took it into the surplus? Shame on him. Remember when the O'Malley budget came up and they talked about how he had completely spent all of EHRLICH'S surplus? How'd he get that surplus? By passing budgets which were fiscally responsible...which is why Harris supported 3 of those budgets. And when he saw that the 4th was irresponsible and wasteful, he voted against it...but NO! we don't want someone with a sound conservative fiscal record representing us in Congress...that would be too crazy!

And yet Andy, the principled, pro-life, anti-drug, "consistent conservative" that morally objects to state funded abortions and needles for drug users didn't have any moral objections when they were in Republican budgets?

I don't care if he supports these things personally, I'd just rather he not hide behind a claim of being principled when the votes tell a different story.
