Special Session Announced

Today Governor Martin O'Malley used WAMU's Kojo Nnamdi Show to announce that he will call a special session but will not announce a date until "early next week." Regardless, he says the session must take place by early November. [O'Malley appears at 7:19 into the segment]. The only newsworthy thing he said was that if he isn't able to have his way with the legislature that the "structural deficit" will be $2.2 billion by the time the regular session convenes.
